All the three mobile operators of France - Orange, SFR and Bouygues Telecom - have now completed the technical test phases of the first interoperable RCS services. The Comneon RCS Engine has been used successfully to improve the interoperability between networks.
Comneon launches 3GPP Rel-7 Dual Mode Protocol Stack supporting HSPA+ and EDGE Evo along with 3GPP Rel-8 CS Voice over HSPA

Nuernberg/Munich, Germany - December 15th, 2009 - Comneon GmbH today announced its latest product offering; the 3GPP Rel-7 compliant Dual Mode Protocol Stack supporting GSM, GPRS, EDGE and EDGE Evolution as well as FDD WCDMA with HSDPA, HSUPA and HSPA+.

Comneon's Rel-7 Dual Mode Protocol Stack (DM-PS 7.0) has implemented the most recent HSPA+ and EDGE Evolution features which further improve the mobile internet experience of 3rd generation mobile communication systems. The new release features higher data rates, increased spectral efficiency, lower latency and reduced power consumption: key benefits for end users and operators alike. Operators will find the introduction of HSPA+ to be a very economic upgrade path towards LTE-like performance, since most features require a software upgrade only for RNC and NodeB equipment.
